Hi, I’m Georgina – proud founder of giftology, your go-to gift boutique in the heart of Wokingham. You might already know me from Antique Rose, our much-loved fashion boutique just round the corner and MAISON RUSTIC our home interiors brand.
I lived in Wokingham for over 13 years, and I love everything about our gorgeous market town – the people, the community spirit, and the way small, independent shops bring real personality to the high street. Giftology is my way of adding even more colour and creativity to your day, whether you’re choosing something special for a friend, a thoughtful thank-you, or just a little treat for yourself.
Our story goes back to 2010, when Antique Rose first opened its doors, initially focusing on shabby chic and country focussed gifts and accessories. We became more focused on gifts and cards in 2013 and relaunched as Antique Rose Gifts – which ran until 2021 and became a favourite with our lovely customers.
In 2013, I opened Maison Rustic, a beautiful home interiors store with its own shop here in Wokingham, next door to Antique Rose. Maison was a new modern twist on rustic, packed with furniture and home accessories with a farmhouse meets industrial look. From 2021 to 2024 we also sold a wide range of gifts in Maison.
After 14 years of curating thoughtful presents across both Antique Rose and Maison Rustic, I knew it was time for gifting to have a home of its own. In April 2024, we opened Giftology as the sister shop to Antique Rose – bringing together everything I’ve learned over the years, along with our most-loved brands and exciting new discoveries, into one boutique dedicated entirely to the art of giving.
