JAVA LONG PEPPER is the perfect companion to 011 PEPPER. Each refill tube contains around 30 gram / 1.05 ounces aromatic long peppers from the Indonesian island of Java. Java long pepper has its own distinctive character, but the familiar taste of traditional black pepper is also present. When seasoning your dish with grated long pepper, you will detect unexpected aromas of licorice, aniseed, and cinnamon, with a spicy sensation towards the end. Think of long pepper as regular black pepper with a twist.
